FC Copenhagen defender Brede Hangeland is attracting interest from Aston Villa.

Hangeland, with more than 30 caps to his name, is valued at around £4million as he is under contract until the end of December 2009 and it is believed he is looking to join a top Premiership side.

The 6ft 4in FC Copenhagen defender is also said to be wanted by Newcastle and Manchester City, according to reports in his homeland.
