Aston Villa hero Tony Daley believes manager Paul Lambert's young team will be comfortable next season.
Daley reckons last season's trials and tribulations will have galvanised the likes of Matt Lowton, Ashley Westwood, Nathan Baker and company.
"With this Villa side, the majority are youngsters - although they have a lot of talent - and if things don't go particularly well it can get tough for them,'' he told the Birmingham Mail.
"When things are going great there's no fear and you go out and enjoy it. But when things aren't going well you have to roll your sleeves up and they have become men this season.
"They have kicked on and the last part of the season where the pressure was on they got the results. Other teams won and you can fold but they didn't.
"Paul Lambert showed a lot of faith in the youngsters and they produced the goods. It bodes well for the future because these kids will be even better."
