Aston Villa have had an £8 million offer for Curtis Davies accepted by West Brom.
But the two Midlands clubs have now come to an agreement over the price for Davies, according to Radio WM, and the 22-year-old's agent is now trying to thrash out personal terms with Villa.
Davies is believed to have initially had his heart set on a move to Tottenham, who had a cash-plus-player offer involving Wayne Routledge rejected by the Baggies earlier this summer.
But the classy centre-back is worried about the uncertainty surrounding Martin Jol's future at White Hart Lane.
If he seals a move to Villa, Albion will have made a £5 million profit after signing him for £3 million from Luton.
