Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is happy for hamstring injury victim Gabby Agbonlahor to stay with the England squad this week.

"Gabby is feeling his hamstring at the moment," said O'Neill after yesterday's defeat to Fulham. "He came out before the start of the second half to try and see if it was OK. But he was still feeling it.

"There was no point risking it any further.

"I would like him to join up with the full England squad if both medical departments (Villa and England) agree. That would be nice for him but there's no way he can play."
