Aston Villa fullback Matt Lowton admits he studies the game of Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta.
Lowton has forced his way back into the Villa first team this season.
"I always watch Zabaleta because he is very strong in his position," he said.
"He rarely gets beat as a defender and he is always joining in with the attackers.
"At Man City the full-backs are able to join in and create chances and score a few themselves. Branislav Ivanovic is the same at Chelsea and (Seamus) Coleman (Everton).
"There's a lot of them right now who are able to join in and create and score goals."
