Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing out-of-favour Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge. Villa tried to sign Bridge during the January transfer window, but lost out to West Ham for the former Southampton and Chelsea man.
Bridge will return to City at the end of the season following a loan spell with West Ham, but City will move to offload the former England international this summer.
The 30-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at City and Bridge does not figure in the plans of Roberto Mancini as he looks to trim his squad.
