Villa find it good to talk with Japanese mobile phone deal

Aston Villa have signed a lucrative mobile phone deal in Japan to sell exclusive content to an emerging fan base, reports the club's official website. The new contract with CWS Brains, a leading mobile content provider in Japan, means Japanese Villans will be able to download claret and blue news, ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers and videos of their favourite players straight to their mobile devices.

Villa join other top Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal in partnering with CWS Brains.

Russell Jones, Head of Marketing, said: "We remain as committed as ever to building Aston Villa's fan base internationally as well as locally.

"Thanks to the reach of the Premier League, our supporter club network, new sponsors Genting and our participation in the Barclays Asia Trophy, we have seen a very rapid and recent growth in our Asian fan base.

"We are delighted to have secured a deal with CWS Brains as the partnership will provide yet another platform to engage with our fans in Asia."
