Aston Villa coach Kevin MacDonald is being linked with the vacant manager's job at Nottingham Forest.
The Daily Mail says there is recognition of the work that MacDonald has undertaken at Villa Park.
The Scot is mulling over an offer of promotion from the reserves to join Alex McLeish's first-team set-up but he is another who has come to the attention of Forest's board.
