Mathieu Valbuena could be on his way to England after a furious attack on his Marseille coach Didier Deschamps.

The 25-year-old was linked with Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Everton, Sunderland and West Ham United in the summer but was told he still had a future at the French club.

However, after starting just three Ligue 1 games this season, he said: "I deserve more respect. I chose to stay here but my situation doesn't change. I see no way out.

"I'd be lying if I said that my future is in Marseille."
