Aston Villa defender Jores Okore is backing Christian Benteke to snap his form slump.
The big Belgian could be dropped for a second successive game at Hull City tonight but Okore reckons the rest will do him good.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "Christian is a good player and a good professional - he can bounce back from it (being dropped).
"I know he isn't going to take it too hard.
"Sometimes the manager makes decisions and maybe it will give him a little bit more fire to go out there and push it that bit more when we are in a game.
"He has a strong mentality."
Okore added: "I think he has been putting pressure on himself, you do that when you are a good player and know people are counting on you then you do that."
