Eric Lichaj believes he will give a good account of himself against Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon, when Aston Villa face Tottenham on Sunday. The USA international told Villa's official website: "I'm happy with my form. I'm working hard and just doing what I can. The first few games are always the toughest, but when you get a good run it becomes a bit better."
Facing Lennon and Bale is arguably his toughest test so far in his new role, but the 23-year-old is not worried.
He continued: "For me, my strength is one-versus-one defending, so hopefully I can do my job on Sunday. If I do play then I'll make sure I do my best against them."
