Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne says Manchester City fans deserve their success.

Dunne joined Villa from City and was back at Etihad for their 4-1 defeat.

Dunne said: "They've progressed and everyone can see the influence the money has had.

"They're a club really going places and their fans deserve it. Hopefully for them and for the club, there are glory days ahead."
