Villa defender Clark delighted with Hull cleansheet

Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark was pleased with their cleansheet at Hull City.

Villa took a point from the KC on Saturday.

"It's two clean sheets from the last three Premier League games now so hopefully we can carry this run on," said Clark to Villa's website.

"It is always good to not give Brad Guzan that work. The less saves he has to make the better. Hopefully we can keep that going.

"It's disappointing not to win the game but in the end we are happy with a point, especially with the way the game went.

"We had a lot of possession in the first half but didn't create as many chances as we'd have liked.

"We kept their chances down and a clean sheet and a point is always a bonus."
