Skysports.com is reporting that Ipswich are interested in signing Aston Villa defender Habib Beye on a loan deal. Beye has found himself training with the reserves recently and the former Newcastle and Marseille star has not featured for Villa since the Carling Cup win over Burnley in October.
Beye is keen to move on loan in a bid to get regular first-team football and Ipswich are thought to be ready to offer him that chance at Portman Road.
