Aston Villa have cooled talk of a move for Real Zaragoza winger Jermaine Pennant.
The former Birmingham City and Liverpool midfielder has been linked with a January switch to Villa Park.
But Villa's website reported the club have moved "to deny newspaper claims they are set to move for Real Zaragoza and former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant".
