Aston Villa may bring in a technical director to work above manager Paul Lambert.
The Sunday Mirror says the club are believed to be considering whether or not to look for a technical director to deal with player contracts, wages and help manager Lambert with transfers.
A number of candidates are thought to have been put to Villa.
