Aston Villa are expected to complete the signing of Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson today.
Villa's website, avfc.co.uk, has confirmed Martin O'Neill hopes to complete the signing of England Under-21 goalkeeper Scott Carson on a season-long loan today.
The 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Charlton, will be ineligible to face Liverpool on Saturday, but will be available for the trip to Newcastle seven days later.
