Villa confident seeing off Spurs in Cisse battle
Aston Villa are moving for Panathinaikos striker Djibril Cisse.
The People says Villa are confident they will win the battle to sign Cisse.
The 29-year-old French forward is quitting Greek side Panathinaikos in the summer and Villa boss Gerard Houllier sees him as the ideal foil for Darren Bent.
Cisse – also on Spurs' radar – played under Houllier at Liverpool and was one of his No.1 targets as soon as he arrived at Villa Park last year.
