Aston Villa remain confident of landing Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell.
The Birmingham Mail says Villa have made a move to replace Gareth Barry with Chelsea's Sidwell well placed to arrive at around £4.5million despite speculation of interest from Manchester City.
