Aston Villa's Gareth Barry says the playing group are starting to believe in each other and the results are showing.

After an enormous away win at Arsenal, Villa are fifth on the Premiership table and Barry is confident of bridging the gap on those above.

"There is a belief there. You can't judge it on one performance but you certainly gain confidence.

"We're beating teams like that, especially on the road, the gap is getting a bit closer."
