Aston Villa are targeting Fulham striker Andy Johnson.

The Mirror says Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has added Fulham striker Johnson to his summer wish-list of bargain Bosmans.

First-year Villa boss McLeish is having to rebuild the team on the cheap as owner Randy Lerner continues his cut-backs.

Big Eck has already secured Australia midfielder Brett Holman on a pre-contract, and has identified other potential cut-price recruits, including hitman Johnson.
