Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar is desperate for victory over West Bromwich Albion on Monday.
Villa blew a 2-0 lead at The Hawthorns to draw 2-2 last season and were also held 1-1 at home to extend their winless run against Albion which stretches back to 2010.
"We should have won the away game. We were 2-0 up and should have scored another two goals in the first half and killed the game," said Vlaar. "But we didn't and it ended up as a draw.
"I am looking forward to this game. It will be great to play in. These matches have extra tension and the atmosphere is always electric. I enjoyed the derbies last time out. It's great to play in these games. You could feel the rivalry in both matches."
