Aston Villa skipper Stiliyan Petrov has compared in-form striker Gabriel Agbonlahor with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. The 24-year old has been in top form this season with four goals in seven outings as Villa remain undefeated and Petrov feels his teammate could be placed in the same category as Real Madrid's Ronaldo.
"People talk about Cristiano Ronaldo but when you look at the assets of Gabby, you can put him in the same bracket," said Petrov.
"I thought Gabby was absolutely outstanding against Wigan. I don't think he has put in a better performance than that.
"That's the Gabby we know - taking players on. Players are so scared of his pace.
"He can take the Premier League by storm. I have always said to him, 'You don't know how good you are with the ability you have got'.
"We saw what he was about against Wigan. Every time he got the ball, they were scared, he put them on the back foot.
"The club is so lucky to have a player like him."
