Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has big plans for Gabby Agbonlahor.

Sherwood will start Agbonlahor against West Bromwich Albion.

"Gabby Agbonlahor is an extraordinarily quick player and I'm hoping we can just keep him fit," said the boss.

"He's had a lot of games now, a lot of experience, and I'm saying: 'Just go out there and play where you think you can hurt them, you take up the positions'.

"Every game I've told him to play on the shoulder and look to get in behind, because once he gets in behind you he's very quick and hard to stop.

"And even if he's not getting the ball, automatically when they see Gabby on the pitch they're going to stand 10-15 yards back and that then allows us to play.

"Joleon Lescott (who was exposed by Agbonlahor's pace), ten years ago wouldn't catch him. It's nothing to do with age or players, it's down to Gabby."
