Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood says reaching the FA Cup semis will mean little if they're relegated.

Goals from Fabian Delph and former Baggies loanee Scott Sinclair sealed their second victory over West Bromwich Albion in five days.

"They're a good group and even though they're quite a young group I don't think they get carried away," said Sherwood.

"They know that even if we were to win the FA Cup and get relegated it would be a failure this season."
