Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is yet to discuss Liverpool's offer with Gareth Barry.

After defeat to Wigan Athletic, O'Neill said: "I haven't had a chance yet. The thing (offer) arrived late on Thursday, hit the papers on Friday and the game came up on top of everything.

"I've not even had a chance to give Liverpool a formal reply. I will sit down and speak to him, though."
