Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill was unimpressed with fans who booed his players at halftime of last week's home defeat to Wigan Athletic.
"In this modern era, I think this is something you have to overcome," said the Villa manager, reflecting on the unrest during the Wigan game.
"Don't see it any different here from anywhere else. If we get booed off at full-time, then I say the fans pay their money ... but I'm not so sure having finished sixth last season that we should come off to boos at half-time, at 1-0 down. Don't see the sense in that, don't see the logic either, but we'll overcome that as well."
