Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has told Real Madrid to forget about his star man Ashley Young.

"Ashley is irreplaceable and priceless to us," said O'Neill, who paid Watford £9.65million in January 2007 for Young. "I wouldn't contemplate selling him - absolutely not.

"It is not going to happen and certainly not by January 31.

"We are going great and the club is perfect for him.

"To go to another club where there is rotation and sitting in the stand is something I wouldn't entertain."
