Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill rapped Curtis Davies after yesterday's 2-1 defeat by Fulham.

Davies was guilty of a rash challenge that gave Jimmy Bullard the chance to grab a late win for Fulham with a spectacular free-kick.

Angry O'Neill rapped: "Curtis got a massive boost by being included in Capello's 30-man squad. But being chosen for that and playing big-time Premier League games regularly are two different things.

"Getting the call-up was a boost for everyone and I'm happy for them but I think we should have played better against Fulham."
