Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has revealed that the January transfer window targets have been identified.
Villa have made good progress in the Premiership and are currently placed eighth.
"I think it's a fair assumption that we would have more choices come February," he said in the Birmingham Mail.
"Now I'm not saying we're looking around or that a player will come in on January 3, but we need to strengthen and we've earmarked some people and hopefully it will be great if it materialises.
"We still want to be in some sort of contention in the second half of the season.
"I know where I'm going with regard to which players I want at the club."
