Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill was delighted with Brad Friedel after his performance in victory over Chelsea.
The American goalkeeper gaffed for Didier Drogba's opener, but O'Neill insisted: "Brad came back brilliantly after his error. He didn't dwell on it. He didn't get an opportunity within two or three minutes to rectify it either so that would have been playing on his mind.
"He would have been angry with himself at half-time. And then he came out with two magnificent saves, maybe even three, certainly two. They were great saves.
"I thought that was an immense second half for him. He was brilliant. He pushed the mistake to one side and got on with what he is very, very good at."
