Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill remains keen to land a new goalkeeper.
The Birmingham Mail says O'Neill has given up on trying to recruit Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc and although Hearts' Scotland keeper Craig Gordon remains in his thoughts he is understood to be scouring the continent for a top level replacement for Thomas Sorensen.
