Villa boss O'Neill draws line under Capello row

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is keen end the controversy surrounding the injury Emile Heskey sustained with England. Heskey played the first half of England's 2-0 defeat to Spain last week despite heading into the game with a slight Achilles problem which was aggravated during the match.

O'Neill had said he was angry with England boss Fabio Capello over his use of Heskey but he now wants to move on from the issue.

"He (Heskey) is improving at the minute and we will make the assessment some time on Thursday," O'Neill said.

"It is gone now, we cope with it. I was disappointed at the time and disappointed with the events, but it doesn't matter. We move on.

"I have not spoken to him, I am told he will be coming to the game on Saturday but Saturday is a long time away. I think it will be worthwhile (to speak with Capello)."
