Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is in no mood to feed a rumour-mill that currently alleges that he is prepared to swap Marlon Harewood in a bid to snare Reading's Kevin Doyle.

Publicly at least he is adamant that Harewood remains a part of his plans for the foreseeable future.

"I don't know where it is rearing it's head from", he told the Birmingham Mail.

"We have games coming up against Portsmouth and Ajax and people are asking me about players' futures."
