Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill wants his players to be the Great Entertainers.

"It's very important that we try to entertain the supporters," O'Neill told Villa's website. "People pay a lot of money to go and watch football games in this day and age.

"It is great to win matches and it is massively important to make the football we produce enjoyable.

"You just want to. We have some really exciting players in our side who are in great form at the moment.

"Our benchmarks at the moment are Arsenal and Manchester United.

"Arsenal have combined a glorious team with a winning mentality. Manchester United have got stronger as the season has gone on and they are playing some really great stuff. They are very strong at the back too.

"They are the top entertainers. But at least we are up there and considered to be exciting. That's encouraging.

"We are trying to score goals and there seems to be a general appreciation of our play."
