Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill believes Steve Sidwell can become a major goal threat.
He told Villa's website: "He has scored a few goals for us this season - in spite of his time on the field being somewhat limited due to injury.
"But he is capable of scoring great goals, like he did against Everton and Wigan.
"I saw him play for Chelsea reserves against us at Brentford last season. He rifled one from 35 yards out and it rocked the crossbar.
"He certainly has the ability to score goals. That's the great thing about Steve.
"Given an ordinary amount of time on the pitch over an entire season, he will get into double figures."
