Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is shelving interest in West Brom defender Curtis Davies.
O'Neill is ready to abandon his bid to sign West Bromwich's Davies for Aston Villa after being told they must pay a staggering £15million.
O'Neill was confident of landing Davies for around £8m but Albion chairman Jeremy Peace is determined to get as much as possible for the former Luton defender.
