Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is convinced Gabby Agbonlahor can make England's World Cup squad.

The Aston Villa striker was axed from Fabio Capello's England squad for the friendly against Brazil.

But boss O'Neill said: "I still think club form will count a lot in the closing stages.

"I told Gabby at the start of the season he would be hard to ignore if he was in the top three list of goalscorers."
