Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish admits they're taking the FA Cup seriously this season.

It has been 55 years since Villa lifted the trophy.

Ahead of today's teatime clash with Bristol Rovers boss Big Eck admitted: "It's a long time isn't it? Especially for a club with Villa's history and heritage."

McLeish won five Scottish cups in five years with Rangers and guided Birmingham to the Carling Cup last season.

He added: "I think everybody dreams of cup glory when maybe they feel winning the title is a bit unrealistic."
