Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is excited about what he sees from Nathan Baker.

McLeish was proud of his youngsters after their 1-1 draw at Liverpool.

Eck declared: "The young boys are doing Villa proud. They are running their hearts out for the club.

"Nathan Baker, for instance, looks as if he can be a great centre-half. The young players have high opinions of themselves without being cocky.

"It was a tough, tough second half but I thought we deserved something from the game. It was a terrific point when you look at the other results of the teams around us."
