Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish denies he wrote off their clash at Arsenal.
Villa lost comfortably 3-0, with McLeish's team selection baffling supporters.
"In my entire career, I never thought I was not capable of getting a result," said McLeish, whose side host Chelsea next weekend.
"You try to plan accordingly, and when you go to a place like Emirates Stadium, you know that you are probably not going to see a lot of the ball.
"But within the tactics, you have to believe you have a chance of causing an upset."
McLeish added: "We played a very good game against Fulham a couple of weeks ago, with a dynamic performance, which is what we will need again."
