Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has axed another scout.
The Mirror says McLeish continued his shake-up behind the scenes at Aston Villa by showing the door to their respected scout Alan Wood.
Now McLeish has also now removed Wood, after linking up with Paul Montgomery again.
Montgomery was McLeish's scout at Birmingham City before being sacked by Blues owner Carson Yeung as a scapegoat for relegation.
McLeish's former Rangers defender Arthur Numan is expected to succeed Wood as Villa's European scout.
