Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is delighted with Ashley Westwood's return to form.
Lambert says Westwood is crucial to his team's engine room.
He said: "TV can be a myth in football. It's okay playing 80-yard passes.
"Everyone wants to do that and they look spectacular when they come off. But the likes of Ashley, they do the simple things well, which is harder.
"I'd like to know the last time he actually gave the ball away.
"You need someone like him to make the engine work. He's brainy and he's brave as well."
