Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is delighted to have summer signing Joe Cole back in training.
Villa snapped up Cole on a free transfer from West Ham in the summer and Lambert insists he'll go on to play a big part this campaign.
"He's back training now and we will have to see how he is in the week," Lambert said. "It's just a niggling thigh injury. I'd honestly be more worried if it was a knee or ankle problem.
"But once we get him fit we've got a really good player on our hands who can play a big part this season."
Lambert added: "Anyone who knows the lad, knows he can really play the game and he's a terrific guy to have around the place as well. He'll be fine."
