Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert could unleash Grant Holt against former club Norwich City.

Villa have drawn a blank in their last three matches to leave them just four points off the drop zone and Lambert would have no qualms about putting the 32-year-old target man in the first team today.

"I started him against Everton," said Lambert.

"It's not something I'm objecting to at all. It's just the current three at the minute can definitely hurt sides. I don't have a problem. I'll decide on Saturday if Grant starts or not.

"I don't have a problem with him starting because I know exactly what I'll get from him.

"But Benteke, Agbonlahor and Weimann are strong at the minute."
