Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is planning a double raid on former club Norwich City this summer.

The Mirror says Daniel Ayala and Grant Holt are being lined up to follow their former boss to Villa Park.

Holt, who scored 15 ­Premier League goals last season, has asked to leave Norwich and Villa are ­preparing a £5million bid.

New Canaries boss Chris Hughton also faces a battle to keep central defender Ayala , who Lambert signed from Liverpool last year.
