Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has never lost faith in their survival hopes.

Villa host West Ham United today.

"From now on in it's 13 cup finals and that's the way we have to view it. We have to be ready for it and win more times than not."

Lambert added: "My belief has never wavered, my belief, whether people have said things or not (that Villa can stay up).

"I've got to have that belief with the way I think about the team."
