Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was delighted with Enda Stevens over his debut in defeat to Manchester United.

Stevens performed admirably in his first senior start.

"Enda was terrific. He was up against Valencia who was by no means a slouch. Enda gave me absolutely everything, as they all did," said Lambert.
