Aston Vila boss Paul Lambert is happy with the new additions to his coaching staff.

Lambert has enjoyed being reunited with former Norwich backroom trio Scott Marshall, Michael Watts and Chris Lorkin during their first few days at Bodymoor Heath.

"As for the coaches, I worked with Michael and Chris at Norwich and I know exactly what we are getting - two good guys who put the work in. I trust them to do it. They will bounce off each other with the rest of the staff.

"They are two good guys who will be good at their jobs.

"I knew Scotty originally from Wycombe.

"Scott helped the young ones at Wycombe.

"He is a good coach and he will enhance the first team."
