Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is counting on Shay Given being part of his squad next season.

Lambert insists the Irishman can still be his No1.

"Shay will come back in for pre-season and fight with (Brad) Guzan to get back in the side," Lambert said.

"Elsewhere, I've got one or two things in my head regarding a goalkeeping coach."
